| Lake El Salto is one of the best bass fishing lakes in the world. It’s 65 miles NE from Mazatlan, Mexico International Airport. The weather is pleasant and dry in the winter months and it’s warm and tropical in the summer months. Best of all its an easy flight from most US cities.
Lake El Salto, a 26,000 surface-acre[ 17Mlls.] impoundment, was built 1987, some years ago and opened for sport fishing in 1988. It offers Fishermen, including first-timers, an opportunity to catch one big fish after another. On a good day the action here is red hot and non-stop. Double-digit bass have become commonplace.
