The answer is in Mazaltan where two resorts have combined to provide a most unique fishing opportunity.Serena Marina and Golf Residences just outside Mazatlan and Cardon Adventure Resort about an hours drive north of Mazatlan provide both trophy saltwater and inland bass fishing. Sergio Castro built the Serena resort in 2008 and Omar Valdez founded Cardon Adventure Resort in 2006.
Together they furnish the possibility to go both bass fishing and salt water fishing on the same vacation.“We can help fishermen fish both fresh and salt water during the same visit,” Sergio Castro, of Serena stated, “We have two different resorts that provide two different types of fishing but only one company to deal with.”“Depending on their interest we can tailor a vacation to whatever a fisherman wants,” he said. If a fisherman has three days to fish he can fish salt water for one day and then bass fishing for the remaining two days or we could do two days of salt water and one day of bass fishing or more, Sergio explained. They are flexible enough and able to provide any number of fishing packages depending on the desires of the fisherman.
