Lake El Salto is a scenic impoundment located on the foot hills of the Sierra Madre Mountains, and it was built on the Elota River and spans approximately 27,000.00 acres, 600’ height NMOL. 86 mileage NE of Mazatlan, Sin. Mx. In 1986 the lake was stocked with Florida largemouth bass by the government, and because of the warm temperature of the water year round these Mexican Bass have grown very fast and really aggressive.
It is not unusual for fisherman to catch 80+ bass in one day, using the right lures, a lot of which are at least from 1 to 12 pounds! Or break our record of 16.10 Lb. (L 29.5”, G 23” ) It is the single-most sought-after destination for bass fisherman because of the high probability of catching the bass of their lifetime! We are proud to let you know we have totally renovated our boats. All boats are 17.4 ft. Aluminum Bass Boats. They are equipped with two comfortable seats, plus an elevated casting deck in front. Each boat is equipped with a 60 horsepower engine and the latest Trolling Motor & a Deep cycle trolling battery.
We like to highlight the fact that, whether your trip to MAZATLAN, MEXICO is for Business or pleasure … Take a chance to fish famous LAKE EL SALTO, it is only minutes away. You won’t regret it ! Bring your own Gear or if you prefer to avoid the hassle of checking and retrieving rods at the airports, you can rent our own Gear and Tackle for a small daily fee.
